I'm thrilled to announce that I'll be attending the 2025 Overlook Film Festival, running from April 3rd to 6th in New Orleans, Louisiana. This four-day celebration of all things horror promises an exciting lineup of films and events. Here are two films I'm particularly excited about:

"Clown in a Cornfield"
Synopsis: Based on the bestselling novel by Adam Cesare, "Clown in a Cornfield" is a slasher film that blends classic horror tropes with a modern twist. The story follows a group of teens who find themselves hunted by a killer clown named Frendo in a small Midwestern town. Expect plenty of bloody scares and a commentary on generational divides

"Redux Redux"
Synopsis: This mind-bending horror thriller explores the psychological and supernatural as a grieving scientist attempts to reverse the past, only to confront dark forces that threaten his sanity. With a narrative structure that folds back on itself, this film promises a haunting journey into obsession and regret.

In addition to these screenings, I’m excited to attend the Opening Night 10th Anniversary Shudder Party on Thursday, April 3rd, at 9:30 PM at the Toulouse Theatre. This event celebrates both the kickoff of the festival and the tenth anniversary of Shudder, the iconic horror streaming service. The party will feature a horror-themed second line, special guest performances, and surprises from Shudder’s extensive horror catalog.

If you’re attending the festival, come join me at the Shudder Party or during the film screenings. Let’s connect and share our passion for horror cinema at this thrilling event!
